Hi there,
I've been looking after a little Chinese elm bonsai. It had winterised and dropped it's leaves. The trunk had started to turn a more red colour which I took as it rejuvenating for spring.
My dog then decided to chew the whole top half off. Will it make it or do I start again?

Ah, yes!
STOP watering it so much!
And make a clean cut below the chewing.

Ok, I had to add dirt and watered it a lot hoping to reduce the stress. No trolling I promise. I normally water it every 3-4 days as the soil gets a little dry
