My dad bought 2 bonsai trees a couple weeks ago and he has stopped paying attention to them. Im worried he hasnt been watering them at all. I would like to know what these two are so I can learn how to care for them.

these plants are a juniper and a chinese elm.

one is a Juniper the other Chinese Elm. The Juniper looks as if it already suffering from being inside. Put them out now. Water when needed not to a schedule, that is check the soil every day and water when almost dry. Check the species guides on this site.
