I have no south facing window so I was curious what my next best option would be. I have two large east facing windows, three medium north facing windows, and a jetty (small protruding portion of a room) with small north (2)/east (1)/west (1) windows. My first thought was the third option but I am a complete beginner with bonsai tree care.
Thanks,
Spencer

An east facing window would be the best choice, when a south facing one is not available.
Still... The really, really best option is keeping trees outdoors.

Thank you. I'd much rather have it inside but if I notice that it still isn't thriving, I'll put it outside. Plus, there are still a few weeks of colder temps ahead (I'm in Philly).

As I have recently learned that the Serissa can be a bit finicky and does not like to be moved much or at all. So i would recommend picking a place and leaving it there until it makes the move outside. I have mine in a south facing window witch gets a lot of light and I still feel it is not enough.. it will be good to get them outside once temp increases!! I'm in London Ontario and feel as if there is no end to this winter! come on spring lol

I moved it to an east facing window but the leaves are still browning, dying, and falling off. I know they struggle at first once moves but it still worries me. I plan on putting it outside once night temps are over 50 degrees - but that won't be for another month.
