Hello,

My girlfriend gave me a Juniper for my birthday last November. The person who sold it to her told her to keep it inside. So I did that. At the beginning leafs were dark green but now it going to yellowish and it's loosing some of them...
But everywhere I read that Juniper must be kept outside even during winter.

So I have few questions, is it dying? :(
Could you confirm which specie is it?
I live in Montreal, Canada. temperature falls regularly under -30°C (-20°F), will it survive outside? (if it survives this season...)

Thanks!

One thing is for certain. It will not survive inside!!! I am surprised it is still alive now, no idea what species it is, are the needles sharp of soft?

It's sharp. May it be a chinensis Juniper?

If it's sharp it is not a chinensis.

Probably it is a Procumens nana.
