Fukien Tea was created by Wrenn12

I just got a Fukien Tea from Brussels Bonsai. I bought two of them and they seemed to have a mudlike substance when they came. But within days, it spread to other leaves and I realized it was not mud. This occurred on both Bonsai. I have not heard back from Brussels Bonsai on what this is. They have not responded to my messages. I have only had the two Bonsai for a few days.

Take them back.
Call the store, talk to customer service.
Don't put these trees near your other trees.

Thanks for the warning. Do you know what this is? I cannot reach Brussels Bonsai by phone and they are not answering my messages. Thank you for your prompt reply. I will segregate them immediately.

Looks like the leaves are drying out. Could be a change of environment, from moist to dry air causing it.

Thanks for the input. Brussels finally got back to me and said the leaves look burnt from being in the sun - they are located in Texas. So I moved it out of the sun, misted the leaves, removed the affected leaves. It has stopped being wilted, But I still see some signs of this, “mud” or “burnt” leave remnants.

Good, great news!
It is not so serious after all.
