Hello!
An aunt gave me this tree, which she thought it was a guayacan when she bought it. A few days ago I started doing some research and found out it wasn't lol As I'm new at all of this, I'd like to know its species in order to take the best care of it.
Right now I have it located by my window, I water it 2 times a week and I've never trimmed it or do nothing besides removing some dead leaves.
Here are some photos of my tree and thank you very much!

My guess would be that your plant is a ligustrum, in other words, a privet species.
