Hello, this is my first post here.
I have always LOVED GIANT Banyan trees. I recently purchased a "chinese banyan" and planted it in my front yard in the hopes that years from now it will grow large enough to provide shade in the yard. After about 4 weeks of it being planted in my front yard it looks like it has settled in nicely and has sprouted new leaves.
My question is: IS THIS A "DWARF" or Small Bonsai tree? Or will it eventually grow very large and provide shade? I'm not sure if there is even a difference? Please take a look at the pictures and let me know if you can identify it. Any information would be appreciated. (species, tips, etc)

It's a regular tree, just young.
If you wait long enough, it will provide the shade you are looking for.
It is not a bonsai.

Yaaaaay! Thank you Clicio!
It is pretty hot here in Miami. Should i water it every day? Also, do you know how QUICKLY it grows (per year)?
I'm assuming this is a Ficus Microcarpa?

I will tell you what it is.... it's freakin' cute in the little planted area. I hope it grows up big and broad.

Well, the big ones, full of aerial roots and giving plenty of shade here in São Paulo (Ficus Elastica, a close cousin), well, they are 100 plus years old...

So Here is an update on my tree. It's only been 3 months but its healthy. Growth seems kinda slow but it's grown at least a foot. Any suggestions? More water? Some kind of food?
