Hy. I went today on a Mountain peak and saw a yamadori. I think it is a juniperus but i don't know what kind of it.
How i can Take that tree without hurting him? Should i wait for the final of winter? It is at 2000m altitude and it is hard to reach at that time. Can i Take it în september or october? I live in Europe, în Romania.
There are also a lot of that kind of yamadori on that Mountain peak. A lot of material to work with.

I eould say, leave them there untill you have enought bonsai experience to know what is needed to make this work, and to understand what makes great bonsai.

After that, get permission from.the.land owners to dig up trees, find the right tree, prepare everything and start collecting.
