I bought a tree that I think I have killed. The leaves are all very hard, and I dont know what to do to bring it back to its glory.

What happened?

Well, first I decided that I would leave a fan on it for 72 hours straight in direct sunlight. When I came back, the whole tree looked dead. The leaves are still on it, but I really dont know what to do now except water it.

I think the tree is a juniper breed? It has leaves that are ovalish and he told me that I only needed to water it for about every week. I have been putting a fan on it so that it grows faster root structures, so it has been drying out more quickly. I know this is probably not a normal practice, but it has worked in the past for me with other plants.

If is has leaves, it is not a juniper. This tree has dries out. Your only hope is to keep it in the shade, keep it moist not wet. And wait. See whether it buds or whether the damage was too extensive.

There are thousands of tree species. How can we tell which plant you have without seeing it!?

You should water when the soil starts to dry out..
