Good morning BE, so I have noticed that my pine has more and more needles that have yellow tips and several needles that have turned full yellow. I having a hard time self diagnosing and would love any assistance that anyone could offer. The yellowing has even appeared in new growth and atm fungicide application hasn't seemed to help. I see no sign of insect activity. Please if anyone has advise or any suggestions on how to manage this better please let me know. I really want my pine to be healthy so I can train it to become a bonsai. Thanks!!

how much water are you giving them? Looks to me like to much water. But I am a pine killer, so do not trust on me in this case :D

That was one of the top thoughts I had also. I am watering once in the morning heavy. Then again in the afternoon light. If I pull them inside due to bad weather I wait till the evening for the second watering. Your are probably right. Do you think if I begin to water less the color will recover or will the tips stay yellow?

Well, I don't kill pines very often, even being in a tropical country.
And I found out by experience and following leatherback's advice, that they really like it dry.
So, even in full sun (and I mean FULL and SUN !) I water them sparingly.
Once a day in high Summer, every two or three days in Spring and Fall, and every week or so in the Winter.
They love it!
