Dear bonsai-lovers,
I'm quite new to bonsai and had a question about my Chines Elm. I have this tree now for one year (picture in train is when I bought it) and I'm curious to your opinion if this tree has any potential and I'm also curious to your opinion on my idea on what to do with it. The pictures when the tree is in green are just made. Image 2 shows what, I think, is the best front at the moment. I would like to grow the first branch left out as sacrificial branch and make the first right one as the main branch, growing it thick right now and cut it back in winter. What do you guys think about this plan? Happy to know.
Kind regards,
Thomas (The Netherlands)
