Hello everyone!
I bought a Japanese maple, and its leaf tips are turning brown. It seems to keep growing new ones, but even those brown when still very young.
The Bonsai soil is 4 parts Akadama, 1 part sandy soil. I keep the soil moist, but not too wet.
Wondering if anyone had some tips.
Thank you for your help.

Trees belong outdiors, young saplings do not belong in bonsai pots. Bonsai soil is for bonsai.

Thank you for your kind response.
What would my course of action be in this case?
Thanks again.
What would my course of action be in this case?
- Our Canadian fall is coming, would the sapling survive? In other words, is it critical to put it outside?
- To what type of soil should I transfer the sapling?
Thanks again.
