In need of desperate help - dwarf Jade losing all leaves.. lost all the leaves in last 2 months. After I purchased I started watering it every 1 week. Leaves we're dropping from very first day once I got this home. Now the stems all all dried and only couple of leaves remaining. Please help

Take the fertilizer out, water more often and pray.

Why is it in that tray?

That's not enough.
But... I will refrain from giving advice based on my trees. It seems my plants are doing well based on the weird weather conditions we have here.

I had them. Until I lost interest. I they were indoors and I watered them... when I thougt aboutit which was not often . Yhey were thriving and i had countless grom the cuttings and dropped leaves. Must have been about 50 of them.

They do not like too much water. You can let the soil dry out. Actually, they like that.

Oh, and do not stop giving advice please. Nothing wrong with not agreeing all the time and you do have knowledge - and awesome trees to prove it.

Dwarf Jade's almost always drop leaves with change of environment. I faced the same challenge... It should pick up ..just dont move it around too much. Keep in a place that gets 2-4 hrs of direct sunlight a day.

I water mine every 2-3 days, sometimes even daily since i have a really small pot with high draining soil that dries out very quickly. I also now use a diluted fish emulsion fertilizer every 2/3 weeks. It has really helped the plant spring back.

Typically, if you see the leaves turning black/dark and falling off, its a sign of underwatering, if the leaves turn yellow/light brown and fall off, its a sign of over watering.
