Hi all,

Will try to keep it straight to the point.

What is the species here ? Is it be Bonsai Carmona (friend suggested that it is) ? I just want to make sure.

Also , basic information would be appreciated what should be done in order for it to grow and be healthy.
Since I got it with basically zero knowledge of growing bonsai I don't want to mess it up :)
Also, since it depends on the species, I would like to know if it can be grown inside.

this plant is a liguster species.

For care info look at the tree species section of the website.

For succesfull bonsai cultivation maximum health is needed which you only achieve outside.

Thank you for information, will definetly take a look at it.

The problem is that I am located in east europe, therefore our winters tend to get rather cold (up to - 30C). Can it still be grown outside until it gets really cold (-10C) and the be brought inside ? Wouldnt it be a big temperature shock ?

Also, do I need to repot it since there are roots that are coming out on top and I dont think soil doesnt have a good drainage.

Thanks in advance.
