Does my Bonsai need to be indoor during the winter? I am located in Canada, Vancouver...
I brought the Carmona (Fukien Tea) from Walmart and the Japanese Maple from a local bonsai store...
I am so glad that I have re-potted the one I got from Walmart... its currently outside atm with lots of new branches spreading everywhere...
My Japanese Maple seems to have some new leaves popping out after I trimmed a little, but seems the round moss ball underneath turning a little yellowish... not sure why.

Thanks you for your help!

Hi there, carmona belongs indoors for winter and maple should be in a cold room, it doesn´t mind the freezeing temperaures but cold winds would most likely kill the thin branches.

Thanks you, but the only problem with my Carmona is I don't have a window spot with lots of sun light...
I wonder when should I move it inside? Like around what temperature?

For the maple, I will leave it outside but will figure something out to protect it from the cold wind.
