Hello all,
I have what I believe to be a juniper bonsai that has been pruned all around with scissors.... Tree then became brown and extremely dry, after carefully watching it has started to grow again but only off the trunk. The flats have completely dried and majority of the one side of the branch even broke off... I’m wondering if there’s any recovery to this tree and if so what I can do to help.....I have provided pictures of how the tree currently looks. It is currently the start of fall where I am at and I have had my tree kept under a grow light while there has not been much sun where I am located......please help.

Put it outsodem water sparingly and gove ot lots of sun.

looks like 2 top branches might have died on you. i trimmed to much foliage off one of my junipers and the branches died off so i was forced to go a different route on styling. but like LB said keep it outside. junipers like sun i would just protect it from mid day sun.
