I know this is probably going to be a no no, but I bought a small bonsai from Amazon. Something for my office, but I'm having problems keeping it. First, I'm not entirely sure what species it is. I think it's a scaled juniper of some type. Also, I'm not sure if I'm watering it properly, keeping it in the right location, etc.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Junipers die if kept indoors. Any juniper. Any size, any age, any soil. They die inside, that's all.

It's a juniper, very young, and please take a look at:

No you didn"t. You purchased a very young plant that was labeled as Bonsai but hardly has anything in common with a real Bonsai.

Indoors is the wrong environment. An office is even worse. The pebbles are placed fot the effect but do not belong there

This has nothing to do with Bonsai. Better get a cactus. It will live longer than this plant.
