Hello,

I've got a bonsai I've had for around 1 year and a half, I decided to repot it last week, but I feel after repotting it's health has gone down hill, losing leaves more than normal. I've watered it and misted it as usual, but no improvement.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Where are you?
Can you post a picture of the tree?
Which species? Which cultivar?
Is it indoors? Outdoors?
Which soil did you repot it into?

It's an indoor tree which I repotted with multi purpose soil. It's quite fine stuff.

I'll post a picture soon

Excellent. That only leaves the questions:

Where are you?
Which species? Which cultivar?
Which soil did you repot it into

I'm based in the UK, England.

I'm not sure what species it is.

Also I repotted into multi purpose soil.

Thanks

I am very sorry, but this is a grafted plant usually sold "as bonsai", but it has nothing to do with bonsai.
They like warmth, usually die in temperatures below 10C, in the summer they need full sun, it's easy to care, sometimes when unhappy they drop their leaves (they become yellow first).
But...
I suggest buying a real bonsai from a reputable nursery if you want to become involved with the hobby.

Oh damn what a con. It even said on the plant label "Bonsai"

Thanks for informing me. I'm quite interested in the hobby.

Sorry to waste anyone's time!
