Hello!

I’ve been thinking about making a bonsai tree out of a moringa tree I have in my backyard. Is there any tips and tricks into this? Is it better to use a clipping, a saing already growing near the tree, or seeds? Do I need to exclusively use a bonsai pot and soil during the whole procedure or can it vary? Also will it produce seeds like regular trees? Any help and advice would be appreciated!!

id say it varies on what you are trying to achieve. a seed or cutting will take many years before it becomes anything close to a bonsai. you can also air layer which will put you a few years ahead of a seedling or cutting. as far as pots go a training pot or grow box is where it will be sitting for many years, soil all depends on what you are trying to achieve as well. a healthy root system/ structure has alot to do with subtract so i suggest reading up on subtract.
