Japenese Elm or Chinese Elm? Expert opinion needed!! was created by MJF

Good evening all, today I purchased a new tree (photos attached) from my local garden centre. It was labelled as a Japanese Elm however upon getting home and doing a bit of research it looks more like a chinese elm given the shape of the leaves. With this in mind I have the following quieries...
1) Chinese or Japanese Elm? What do we think?
2) The tree has quite a bit of new growth and all its leaves so does this mean it has been grown indoors rather than outdoors as many say its a decidious tree which should lose its leaves in winter?
3) Many seem to advise to keep these trees outdoors both summer and winter and obv take the proper precautions in winter should it be a harsh one so given this may have been grown as an indoor tree should i really be putting outside? Or should i slowly acclimatise it? ie put in porch to begin with for a week then transfer outside? or should it be kept indoors from now on since its spent its life indoors to date?
Any advice would be much appreciated!

The tree belongs outdoors. If it is winter and quite cold, where you are, you might want to wait until spring to put it outside. After that, you can keep it outside. The type of growth it will get when its outside will be so much more and better than you could possibly expect inside.
