Please help me identify my bonsai.

Looks like a neagari Serissa Variegata (I'm not positive on that as the picture is... Well, not so good.)
Trouble is, it's sharing the space with some kind of mini bamboo, pebbles, bad soil, bad moss and a stone.
Serissas are very fussy, and they hate being moved, overly wet soil, overly dry soil lack of sunlight and excessive sunlight.

Thank you..this is my first . It was a gift that came in this pot..so remove all the fake crap and pot in new soil.. are the roots supposed to be above soil like in the pic or is not planted properly?

If you are in the Northern hemisphere don't repot now, wait for the next Spring and study how to do it beforehand.
You can take the stone, pebbles, dried moss and the bamboo off the pot.
The roots are in a style called neagari in Japanese which means "exposed roots".
