Okay so around Christmas time my bonsai was left unattended for just over a week while I was away on holiday, upon returning all the leaves had dried up and gone crispy yet remain green.
I have maintained the bonsai and to this day the leaves remain crispy and green. Will the bonsai eventually grow more leaves?
It is a Chinese Elm tree

Unattended for a week, crispy leaves... how many times will the same question be repeated without the person asking first having a quick look around to see if the question has been asked before ?

Also, it's not a chinese elm.

Yeah its a chinese rose, typo my end. And I also did a quick search of the forum. A simple point in the right direction is what I asked for, we’re all here for the same reason which is the love of bonsai, so no sassy reply is necessary. had enough of the rude mods on this site. Thanks for your time,

Yeah, but it's the same plant of yours, the same question? I'd guess the same answer applies: stay patient.
Chances are slim though, if it has been like this for such a long time. Also, it would have been good if you posted in the same thread - so people know the plant's history.

BTW I'm just a visitor, not a mod.
