Hi all,

I noticed a very unusual growth on my bonsai today (see attached image). It lives in a terrarium, and on a whole looks healthy. The growth is white in colour, looks 'fluffy' and originates from the tree but had taken root in the soil.

Does anyone have any idea what this is, and if i should be worried?

That's a fungus. Well... I guess it is. Can't be sure without a picture.

Not a fungus. Looks like a root. Maybe another plant. But where's the bonsai ?

Yup, a root, as common in ficus when growing under high humidity.
