Hi there I have kept my bonsai for over a year now and I’m not sure what is going on with it. I recently moved and it gets plenty of sunlight and is an outdoor plant. I also I water it every day. Not sure why, but it goes through phases with of being very healthy or close to death. I am not sure why or what could be done with it to prevent from this. Please see attached pictures, I would love some help from an expert. I want my Bonzai to keep growing and I want to master it and not kill the one I have.

Hi bcantu, your bonsai (not bonzai) unfortunately is half dead.
Junipers have to be outdoors all the time, you are right, but they hate being wet all the time, they need to dry out between waterings. And of course they love full sun. I think the problem could be the watering schedule.
Maybe covering it up with a plastic bag (NOT in direct sun!) to keep moisture high could help revive it, but don't be very optimistic as juniper foliage can be green for a long time and be already dead.
Sorry for the bad news.

I’ve got similar, but lighter results with badly compacted nursery soil on a needle juniper.
Learned from Leatherback, soil slightly moist, foliage humid need to be.
I don’t know if it have the same problem, but your tree is weak now.
If you do a full repot on the wrong time, it’s goner. If you leave on this conditions, it’s goner. If it’s constatly wet, goner. If it’s dries out, goner...
