Ginseng ficus: Tiny white "pinpricks" on leaves? was created by flyingfishfinger

Hi,
I recently found these tiny white "pinprick" looking dots on a few of my ficus leaves. They're not actually holes, but they are raised.

No sign of bugs or pests on the underside, as far as I can tell. So far it's only on two leaves, but it seems to have spread from one to the second one next to it...

Any ideas, please?

I have never seen this on mine but maybe it is worth just cutting them off and seeing if any others develop it?
