You probably kept it indoors, which killed it....( there is no such thing as an indoor tree)

Assuming you are not trolling:
If you do not know that a juniper is an evergreen, that it does not go brown and drop all its leaves in winter "like every tree does", and that it will not grow back new needles in spring, if you think a juniper is like a houseplant that can be grown indoors, and, actually, if you think that what you have is a bonsai, you really, really should not be doing bonsai.
If you do not even have such basic knowledge, you'll only kill trees.
Your young plant has been dead for at least half a year. It started dying in autumn last year.

Ah... I suspected it as this just cannot be a true story. Now I am sure you are a troll.
But yeah, you can. I recently wrote a topic about reviving a dead juniper.

I'm not sure what your definition of 'troll' is but yeah, a beginner killed his first bonsai, true story. Please link your topic about reviving a dead juniper, thank you!

Do you started develop interest to Bonsai at 2018? It’s good, me too
It happened around a year ago for you, for me around May.
You said, you’re a beginner.. I consider myself more noob than a beginner, but maybe I can became one in few years.. if I learn enough and work enough for..
Now the question is, what did you learn on that one year?
What it means Bonsai? Juniper inside? Deciduous conifer?
I’m not agree with Auk.. Your tree isn’t dead since past autumn. It was already dead at the summer, just they keep the green color for months if they’re not on direct sun.
The Trolling is seems logic, cause this is some knowledge what you must get earlier on the “beginner” level, and not after all that time.
Believe me, that’s better. The other case is worst, cause in other way you ended a young life purely cause you wasn’t enough smart to understand or correctly research basic things.

And please, do not compare yourself. Your first topic was about a live plant, you had plans for its design, you listened, learned and look at you know... there's a reason why we missed you!
I maintain that, if you do not have even any rudimentary horticultural knowledge, do not start doing bonsai. Learn the basics about plants and trees first. If you do not know that evergreens do not turn brown in autumn and do not drop their leaves in winter, if you think that's the normal behaviour for all plants, if you don't see that your plant is very dead and has been dead for months and if you think you can revive something that is dead (which, as far as I know, was only done once in human history - and it's even a myth) then you really will not be capable of keeping a bonsai, that is more demanding than ordinary plants or trees, alive.
Yes, I am discouraging someone from growing bonsai.; I do encourage to start learning about plants first.
Here's the topic about reviving dead trees. It's a joke.
