Hi Guys,

Just bought my first Bonsai (4 Years Old) and have started doing my research. Unfortunately the Garden Centre didn't know which Bonsai it was, and the Chinese Sweet Plum appears to be the closest fit.

A push in the right direction for an amateur, both in terms of kind and care tips, would be greatly appreciated!

When it's only 4 years old, it cannot be a bonsai.

Yep, looks like Chinese plum / Sageretia Theezans. Guidelines are under 'Tree Species', top of the page.
