I got this bonsais given to me and I’m not sure what is going on with it.

These are whoolly aphids A systemic insecticide will help you get rid of them. Or you remove by hand all visible and then spray with an horticultural oil (ALthough I do not know how well carmona take to this)

Alternatively you can use cotton swabs with a mix of Neen Oil and rubbing alcohol (diluted) to patiently take them off.
Afterwards, good strong spray of water every 15 days will keep them away.
Usually this problem is due from lack of air movement.
Is your Carmona outdoors? As it should be?

It is indoor right now. We haven’t been warm enough for it to be outside. I do have it by the window with plenty of light.

how cold is it right now?

Night time it’s in the 30-40’s and day time it’s in the 50-60’s.

If I had some where to put it that was covered and still get sun I would but I just have a window box that gets sun so I have been putting it in there during the day.
