Hello,
I have had an interest in bonsai for quite a while now, but never have had any bonsai trees.

I recently purchased this Japanese holly from a nursery because I thought it might someday make a nice little tree.

As you can see, I have already butchered it quite a bit so that I could see the structure (assuming I've probably already done something I shouldn't have to it).

I guess I'm just here to ask for some general guidance to see if I have a good chance at creating a nice little tree out of this plant!
