Mugo Pine first attempt was created by Brom

I bought the tree today and this is my first attempt at making something resembling a pre bonsai. I repotted the tree, found what I think is the front and wired 2 branches. I then stopped as I was not sure what to do next. I think there are a few branches that need to go but am not which ones. Any thoughts?

Congrats on getting started!

With pines you have to be prudent. Take things slow . If you have just repotted I would not do anything else for the rest of the year. Pines are picky

The good news is if you wait until next year to cut the branch off it will be just as gone as if you cut it off now. No rush, so wait until you are sure what you want to do. And be sure to put it outside.
