Need help identifying bonsai for correct care was created by TK11996

Hello,

I am a beginner plant tender and just got my first bonsai tree. The store I got it from it didn't give me the specific breed of bonsai but gave me 4 very basic care guidelines and that's it. I'd like to get pretty in depth with bonsai as I notice myself caring more and more about the plant everyday. Pictures are attached. The ceramic pot on the bottom has a single hole about the size of a pinky. I have the ability to make more holes if needed too. Hope I can get some help!

Thanks

Welcome.

These are indeed junipers.

Did the care guidelines include telling you to not keep these indoors, but outdoors?
Dont go back to the store. If they cannot tell you which species of plant they are selling, how can you be sure their care recommendations are correct.

I would use an app like PlantNet to find out the species of the two plants and then do a Google search of the plant name and bonsai care. Read the directions carefully.

The directions for the juniper are almost funny. 65-75F? Junipers love cold winters. They love sunlight.

Look on the empire website for general and specific instructions. They will e better than the card you got.
