Hi. I got this tree as a gift and I'm trying to figure out how to take care of it.
Can someone help me with the species?
I'm having a hard time with the one low-quality pic for each species on the site!

Hello and welcome
its a ficus ginseng, the branches of one type of ficus grafted on the roots of another type.
Has little to do with bonsai ( except probably being labelled as bonsai for selling purposes), treat it as any other houseplant and it will do fine.
