Dear Forum Members,

My name is Hummy and I have purchased this 35 year old Bonsai .

I reside in Cape Town, South Africa and suspect this Bonsai an Acasia (Monkey Thorn / acacia galpiwii) but would like to ask if the little greenery I have pulled out are indeed weeds?If they are weeds, should I remove them all?

If you have any tips for me to better the Bonsai, please do give me your honest input .

Everything growing in a bonsai pot that are not bonsai is weed. Exception may be moss, not all agree thou. Just rip it out.
