Hello, I was wondering if anyone would know the names of these plants. Someone gave it to me, and they didn't really have a clue what the name was, but they were sure they were some species of Bonsai.

There is no such thing as bonsai species. Bonsai is not a kind of tree but a normal tree that is kept small by applying a multitude of techniques, in specific times of the year, depending on a lot of variables a,d this during decades.
So, you have two normal saplings of a year or two old

My bad but do you have an idea of what type it is. Like is it Juniper or is it too early to tell.
