Just got this bamboo and was wondering if the two ends will keep growing since they have been cut?

technically not really a bonsai,but well.. You can see where the plant has decided to create a new branch. THat is where the plant continues growing. It could pop a bud closer to the cut end, but it is unlikely. I would wait a few months and trim the stub if no new growth appears.
