Good afternoon or morning.

I've had this bonsai plant for a little over a year now and I've always believed it was a Ficus. If someone could please confirm or deny this would be great!

All the best!

This is indeed a ficus. A very sad and hungry ficus craving for sunlight. Do you have a photo from when you got it? If you have, please go back and compare.

Oh no! I didn't realize it was sad and hungry! I thought it was doing really well! Just goes to show how much of a novice I am! What would you suggest I do to improve it? I believe it could be a little pot bound but as I said before, I'm a novice at this and am not quite sure. I've been told it's best not to re-pot them until Spring arrives.

Come spring put it outdoors in full sun. Every year from now on keep it outdoors mid spring to mid authum.

Repotting does not replace sunlight.
