Hi All!
I have an old hawthorn yamadori bonsai.All of the leaves gone also the branches start drying.
Anybody can help how to save the tree plz?

This tree been taken out in february from the ground.The first time bring fress leaves.But after a little while all of the fress leaves drys out also some the branches died.
I try black bag for couple of weeks also sprayed with algee liquid (for dying bonsai trees) 4-6 times a day.watring every day early morning.The soil half sour soil mix with moss and sour bonsai soil.sun is about till 2 pm then shade.
The left one is the dying tree.
The right one looks will survive

Why did you prune and wire? Digging up trees is enough stress as it is, without any other interference. Bonsai is a maraton not a sprint. You will not create a great tree overnight.

Put the tree in the shade and keep well watered......And hope.
