I am brand new to this. I just aquired 6-8 seedlings of Japanese Maple. They are from this spring. How do I procede? They are about 2-3 in tall and right now just in potting soil.
howdy and welcome to the site...i would keep them were they are for now to get a good root system established and plant them in the ground if possible next year. do you know what species of j. maple they are? i ask because differant cultivators need slightly different conditions.mostlt sunlight some can handle it and some cant.
These are my future trees. I don't know what type of J.Maple they are. The tree I got them from is in full sun, and is the biggest J.Maple tree I have ever seen. about 20ft tall and was spreading seedlings everywhere.
