That depends on a lot of things. What kind is it, where do you keep it, where are you ,how big is it........

Do you know what type of bonsai it is? Usually watering every 3 to 4 day should be alright.

I water my sageretia every 4 days. It is inside as well.

poke a chopstick or skewer in the soil for a few minutes,if it comes out dry the tree needs water.
