So i recently found someone who grows bonsai and wanted to know what people thought about the stock he has available and if anything sticks out as being decent and if i should peruse, let me know thanks
I have never purchased a tree through ebay. Some of those trees are good stock...but the price is cheap. I don't want to sound negative, but almost too cheap.
the guy lives local to me and is going to deliver them by hand, well, he will bring them to me so i can look to see if i want them and then we would go from there
yea im meeting with him at 7pm so hopefully he has some good stuff, he stated would bring some other things from his collection just to show as happy someone in the area interest so thats good
also i have no experince with the small trees - well really dont have much experince at all but i do understand they require alot more attention
those crabapples are 3-6 inches per alot of the links and not sure how to even go about those...any suggestions
he was an older man from taiwan who was super excited to see someone younger getting into bonsai. we talked for a good hour and he was very helpful and knowledgable so it was good
total for all 8 was $30, but i feel he was "gifting" some of them to me so pretty excited
if i remember correctly:
-3 japanese maple
-1 japanese black pine
-1 american elm
-1 ginko
-1 buddhist pine
- and the last on i cant remember
