could you please help me identify my new bonsai trees so I can do a proper research on how to care for them? one of them started to loose leaves; it had so many of them when I received it.
in my flat is quite humid and cold, temperature varying between 12- 15 degrees, and i was thinking what mught cause this.

I have attached pictures for both of them.

Thank you for your help!!!!

These are ficus retusa plants. Ficus needs higher temperatures. To survive 16+ degrees. To trive 22-30 celcius. Humid is good.

15C is as low as i would go for growth.my ficus do very well overwinter at 18 to 20C .by the looks of the first one you are not providing enough light and giving too much water .if the leaves are turning brown before they fall off there isnt much hope.if thet are yellowing first it is a definate lack of light

Thank you for taking time in helping me!
Very useful information!

The problem thatbinhave though is that leaves
Are falling whilst still green.... Is it that normal?

And some of the branches are completely drying out. Can I cut them?

Thanks

less water more light .the roots will rot if kept wet and there isnt enough light to draw water out of the soil to the leaves.the trees are loosing leaves because of this. the branches are dieing for the same reason.
