As I expect you will write 'that's what I meant' when I explain why it is nonsense:
Wrapping a pot in plastic will not keep the roots warm. Maybe you forgot to write something, or you meant something different.
Can you explain why you think bubble wrap will work, and how it should be applied?
Well, i did not expect you to approve of it due to-well i guess i've known you a while or two. The reason being, it just works for me, one day, pot frosted up next i put bubble wrap on and left another pot outside with it with no bubble wrap and hey presto, the one with bubble wrap fine, the pot i left outside with no wrap, well... It was actually cracked. I have no links to verify but the fact it worked for me. I may have just been lucky-well i probably was, but it worked fine for me ever since. But you have more experience than me so your word has more value. But boy, i sure don't want to argue like we used to .

We were not talking about pots. We were discussing the effect of bubble wrapping a pot on the tree - please let me remind you that you wrote it "keeps the roots from getting too cold".
Can you explain why you think it keeps the roots from getting cold - or can you figure out why I disagree ?
Thanks, but you still did not explain why wrapping a pot in bubble wrap will not keep the roots warm.
I'm not going to explain this if there's someone who can do it better, so I've done some searching and have found this website for you:
