Hi there mullins,

That is a Juniper, it certainly belongs outdoors year round and it is not a Bonsai... At least not yet... Long way to go before you can actually call it a Bonsai.

First thing I think you should learn is how to distinguish bonsai, and bonsai starter material, from young plants in a pot.

This isn't a bonsai or even good starter material.
