I just took some cuttings off of my azalea, and I wonder how long it will take to root.

Anywhere from a few days to half a year and sometimes upwards. You will know when you get serious extension growth. Is it springtime in your whereabouts? Or are you taking winter/hardwood cuttings?

Nope, not spring time where BonsaiN00b it is... According to his profile, he/she lives in Oregon, USA... Northern hemisphere. So, taking azalea cuttings at the wrong time I believe. :dry:

I can move them inwards to my house, on a windowsill where they will get a lot of sunlight.

Cover them with a sheet of plasticfoil like you use in the kitchen, so that condensation touches the leaves. Azalea can be grown from cutting, but best in early spring. In winter it is ot easy
