Hello I am new to bonsai and am here to learn. I own a ficus bonsai and have it in granite that I found and washed myself. A bit of fresh forest moss and perlite is in the mix as well., however it is barely noticed on the top substrate.

Are those rocks just for the top soil?. You should use smaller stones, and some organic material for your soil mix.
