Can you please help me what specie the tree is?
I bought a "bonsai" tree at the nursery, their description was "Bonsai tree".
I am a beginner. And wanted a tree that i can train further.
(also have some seeds growing to train in a while )
i searched the internet to find out what species it is. But i am unable to determine it for sure. It looks like a ficus. Can someone please help me find what specie the tree is?

Just a note, take that wire off, its cutting into the tree already, I don't see any use for it either. Went you clip branches, clip close to the leave section or knots, the way it is cut is to far out.

bought it as it is now. i will do the things you mention right away!

It is a mallsai of a species of ligustrum.

From the pictures and the way it has been cut the trimming advice seems to be right, that much experience I think I got.
