We recently purchased a Bonsai tree (We weren't told what type of Bonsai it is) and it's been about 1.5 weeks. We've been told that it is normal for the Bonsai to shed leaves for the first 2-3 weeks due to stress but we've noticed an increase in leaves shedding and they are starting to curl up and form brown spots, especially from the top of the tree. We are located in Eastern Europe where it is starting to get cold (6-12 Celsius / 42.8-53.6 Fahrenheit) and it's cloudy most of the time. We've placed the Bonsai at a corner across the room /window where it can get some light/sun. We also have some artificial sunlight that we might start shining the Bonsai with. We've watered the tree once and the top of the soil still feels damp so we haven't watered it again.

Would appreciate any advices and suggestions as to how to care for our Bonsai (watering habits, fertilization, etc) and as to how we can help our Bonsai adjust to the new environment and grow! I

've attached some photos. Thanks!!

You got a ficus houseplant. Basic ficus care applies.

Something like this, but you can find a lot more
