New to Bonsai-tree ID + care? was created by KjGur

Hello. I received a bonsai as a housewarming gift and I need help in identifying it and how to care for it. I believe that it is a ficus. It looks like it's got maybe spider mites, too. Can someone please tell me if I'm correct in both assumptions?

Indeed It is a ficus.
I can't tell if that are spider mites, but it seems likely.
Your assumption that it's a bonsai is incorrect though.
