New bonsai. Weather/storage help please was created by TheFlem

I bought a bald cypress bonsai from bonsai boy earlier this week and it came in today. I live in south west Louisiana and these trees are native so I thought it would be a good beginner bonsai. Weather had been in the 70s for days but the first cold front is hitting now and temps will drop to low 20s. My question is what should I do for my bonsai during this front? Not sure if the climate change from New York where it came from will affect it or if I need to slowly transition it? Can I keep in my garage during this cold or no? It should be in its dormancy right now

Could be a good beginner plant to learn bonsai care on, but I would not call this a bonsai.
This tree is deciduous and should not have leaves now. Are you keeping it indoors?

70 degrees? That's extremely hot!

I have it inside right now as I'm not sure if I should move it outside. I'm not sure why it has as much leaves right now. It just arrived today.
And yes 70 degrees. But this tree is bative to the area.

It's a tree and it is native. It belongs outside.

70 degrees... that's the boiling point of ethanol. How can you survive that?
