Thanks for the tips Sleuth, I do appreciate it. I'll look into those trees. I subscribe to all my threads so I know if a news post has been made, personally I don't care how old they are or not.

Great to see you back Zer)devil.
Do read a few more threads by the person giving advice, and wonder whether he is the best person to take advice where a tree will or will not survive. Then look for threads on dying junipers, and look where they have beenkept.

Some species just do not survive the indoors environment.

Will do, thanks Leatherback. Just got back from the local nursery with a few tomato plants and saw a dwarf Alberta spruce for $9.99. Don't know if it will ever make a good bonsai, but should look decent after I prune it a bit and give the interior needles/branches some sun.

You are more than free and able to develop your own opinion. I never said to keep it inside but bringing one in for a day is hardly an issue for a shade tolerant species such as yew which I have 4 different kinds that have all been inside and outside. They're my healthiest plants and extremely low maintenance.
